This wheel carrier worked well to get the bike wheel out of our smallish car. It definitely worked better than an earlier model we previously tried. The wheel feels secure in the mount and does not spin around while you are driving. I would buy this product again- and I am picky.
Sturdy construction. Great way to get that muddy tire out of your trunk. The only downside is your wheel is not locked to the carrier and the carrier isn't locked to the roofrack. Just something to consider if you are going to be leaving your car unattended with your bike/wheel attached for an extended period of time. For me, it's a non-issue. Inexpensive solution to help keep your car interior from getting filthy.
