My husband and I are in our late fifties and early sixties and we still enjoy going to the beach, but we all know how cumbersome it can be getting everything to the beach. We recently got our first opportunity to use the Deluxe Wonder Wheel on our vacation and let me say what a wonder it was. Oh, we loved it. I don't know why we didn't do this sooner. So many people asked about it or commented on how they wish they had one and what a great idea it was. We told them that we use to be just like they were making 2 or 3 trips back to the car to bring stuff, but not anymore. We got everything on the cart and for the most part did not have difficulty pulling it through the sand. Some areas where the sand was dense was a little challenging, but i think our ages had something to do with that, as well. Here's what was on our cart: 4 chairs, umbrella, cooler filled with drinks, containers of fruit ; ice, 2 oversized beach towels, 3 large bags of snacks, my kindle, blanket, 2 of those bamboo things you lay on, my purse, and a thermos of water, and there was room for more. If you're going to the beach. Don't leave home without one.
This thing is like a large travel stroller without the baby seat! It's light weight makes it even more pleasant. The canvas bag that hangs between it even helps hold your personal effects and cups, etc., like on the larger baby strollers. And, one huge selling point was that it folds up flat like a baby stroller for easy storage.
This is great, not just for beach travel, but (as advertised) for any scenario when you need to drag lots of bags around. My wife and I used it for a hospital stay with our daughter, and it was nice to have all the toys, diaper bag, toiletries, blankets, clothes, teddy bears, etc. in one place.
We did not get a chance to get to the beach this summer but did try to fit all our bags and equipment on it. This thing is designed perfect. This will take so much hassle out of beach trips and also out of vacationing and travel. If you have kids, this is a must have!
In summary, this is more than worth the price! You won't be disappointed.
